Heroic Mogu'shan Vaults: Gara'jal the Spiritbinder
This was a really, really tight DPS check early on in the heroic tier. We quickly got to below ten percent and then just backed off for a week to take some time off after the leveling and gear-up grind. Next time back, it was easily dropped.

Heroic Mogu'shan Vaults: Feng the Accursed
I love nights like this, where half the raid thinks whatever we're doing is impossible and doesn't want to try. Sure, we had a couple of non-regulars here, but guess what? We took down Feng with time to spare. Guess my bitching at the raid paid off!

Things started off slowly with the new guild, but they usually do. We had some rough spots after about half of the people we planned to have with us vanished at the last moment, but we managed, and here we are. The <illest> are born! (Yes, our new name is that bad!)

All good things must come to an end, and unfortunately, this was our last kill as <Reanimated> on Burning Legion. Although we still had something resembling a raid team, there were a lot of reasons to walk away and try something new. Among other things, Alliance on Burning Legion is so miserably dead that finding capable recruits is next to impossible; on top of that, of the people we had left, there was little synergy and a lot of built-up frustration, and we felt it was better for everybody to move on to something new.

There are far too many people to thank for Reanimated's nearly-five-year run to list even a small portion of them, but they know who they are. And in particular, thanks to the folks in the screenshot here for sticking it out in Dragon Soul, which was, among other things, the worst raid instance Blizzard has ever crapped out. It's always sad to see things end, but I'm confident that everybody involved has moved on to better things. Thanks for the memories Burning Legion, and farewell!

It's a bit sad to count how many "months behind" we are on this, the real blocking fight of the instance. However, we've had more chaos and adversity in this raid tier than any other I can remember, and it's a real testament to those that stuck around that we were able to keep the group together, even with the weeks we took off.

It's worth mentioning that our two most geared players decided to leave us a month ago for a "better" guild, just as it looked like we'd be able to kill this. What followed was a lot of begging people to raid and cobbling a group together, and then learning the fight with a single caster, no mage, and no heroism. Eventually we used a BM Hunter for hero and forced our caster to sit to try to get some syngery, so thanks go to Maddik for being willing to sit; to Tatsuo, for coming out of retirement for three weeks to help us keep raids going, and to everybody else who actually stuck with the guild, rather than taking the easy way out.
